In pursuit of their estranged former   teammate Doctor Jackal, the EIS team of enhanced individuals have followed a trail of clues to the mysterious Montauk Institute on Long Island, and while investigating the site they have discovered what appears to be a hidden facility buried deep beneath the Institute that contains a number of enhanced. Long Island, New York, United States of America, October 1949 Having reached the perimeter fence on the east side of the institute, Alfie and Sven settle down in the undergrowth to keep watch while Madeline and I slide in shadow form further into the camp to scout out the area more thoroughly. We took our time, sliding through the darkness and avoiding sentries, but we did discover three underground bunkers as well as a concrete tower that we could not gain access to as it seemed to be hermetically sealed. In pursuit of their estranged former   teammate Doctor Jackal, the EIS team of enhanced individuals have discovered a connection to a colleague of Albert Einstein, one Immanuel Velikovsky. And so the team are moving in to search his house . The EIS team consists of Alfie Baldrick, the one man rifle section; Mimi Dubois, maîtresse of skills; Madeline Forsyth, the living shadow; and Sven Hyse, the Norwegian shapeshifter. Princeton, United States of America, October 1949 Madeline and I exit Velikovsky's house and rejoin Aflie and Sven back at the car. We head for a late lunch and discuss what we plan on doing next. I suggest that we should investigate the Montauk Institute, but Madeline and Sven are very keen on speaking directly to Vilikovsky face to face. So we agree to set out a web of three Baldrick lookouts, keeping a close eye on the entrance roads to the area of Velikovsky's residence. We pre-arrange to rendezvous with Sven at the outbuilding at the rear of the property and myself and Madeline transform into shadows and slide across the road and under the fence to the rear of the outbuilding. Having watched him for a couple of days the team have made contact with Einstein. Madeline explains to him that we are seeking Doctor Jackal and he asks us who we are working for. We tell him that we are not working for anyone, but that we are friends from his past and we are worried about the path that he is travelling.
